    Gabriele--Yes, I am a big Sargent fan; and that's a very generous compliment! Maybe if you squint from very far away.

    Kristian and Doodlers--thanks! I'm not exactly sure what the expression is--I think it changed when I painted the eyes... she's somewhere between whistful and dopey!
