REEL!
Click the image above for some leica reel action! I know--it's embarrassing; yes, that's my voice. The music is performed by the Firehouse 5 + 2, and the quicktime is hosted by Mr. James Robertson. Many thanks!
(ps. while you're watching it, imagine it's designed by Tom Oreb, animated by Marc Davis and colour styled by Eyvind Earle--that's certainly how I'd love to see it.)

ReplyDeleteThis is sooo good! I love when he's doing this thing with the spoons at the beginning: it works so well with the music.
It's amazing! WAAAAW

ReplyDeleteVery nice. It's charming and has a nice spirit about it. Can't wait to see your first finished scene in color.
ReplyDeleteA student film you did before? I want to see it toooooooo :)
ReplyDeleteWELL...
ReplyDeleteI'll have to pass it by Jay first.
I only have one thing to say....
ReplyDelete'DAVE!'
Very nice! Makes me want to sit down and animate again, (its been a long time). Really fun drawing style.
ReplyDeletenice. Your voice has a natural quality. Will you animate in Flash?
ReplyDeleteI love it - it certainly has something of "that old feeling". I've been thinking lately, that over the years animation has become a "serious" business, and lost some of the light careless fun it used to have back when it was almost an experimental medium. I'd like to see more stuff like what you're doing.
ReplyDeletei cant wait then!! hehehe!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say. Just cant wait to see more of this. It would be great to see all together to see how it flows.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks again for taking the time to post on my blog, I really appreciate it.
