The San Francisco Ballet : Don Quixote

An amazing drawing trip today: to watch the dress rehearsal of the San Francisco Ballet Company's production of Don Quixote, composed by Ludwig Minkus and choreographed by Helgi Tomasson and Yuri Possokhov. We were lucky to meet a number of the dancers and orchestra members, and I think everyone returned to their respective crafts a little more inspired. It was an incredible experience, and one I hope we can enjoy again.

Revolution

The opening was successful and the weekend was fun; I attended shows, saw friends, made lunch, visited the tailor's, walked to other parts of town, bought books and met musicians; I drank a little coffee, I cleaned. Above, a small and stirring concert at the Revolution Cafe. The folks beside me talked the whole time--they sure burned me up. The days are just packed.

BLOG : Le Monde Meeerveilleux d'Aurélie

Aurélie's Wooonderful World is the most pleasant, appealing place ever, surely a reflection of her personality. There's not much to say that hasn't been said before; just a reiteration of her woooonderfulness! And the very best thing is that this lovely talented young artist can only grow and improve from here; I can't even imagine what that much more appeal would look like! I think I'd explode for joy. I say hello and wish her very much success!

Please visit Le Monde Meeerveilleux d'Aurélie.
